Twenty-five years of giving ideas a face — brands, products, films, and the occasional clay boy in a desert.
01The Hand
It started with a hand that wouldn't stop making.
Drawing, painting, sculpting — before design was a career, it was a compulsion.
A degree in visual communications gave the compulsion a discipline. But every brand and interface since still begins the way it began: a mark made by hand. Yonah, below, was sculpted in clay, stitched, photographed, and carried into a digital desert without losing his warmth.
02The Mark
Twenty-five years of giving companies a face.
Freelancer, studio partner, creative director — brand strategy, art direction, brand books, and everything they touch.
From startups to nonprofits, one-off projects to multi-year retainers: identities built to be lived in, not just launched. Walk through a few of the marks.

03The Bridge
Modern aesthetics, married to ancient structures.
The last decade has centered on Jewish education — a world where tradition is the brief.
Designing for three-thousand-year-old structures demands a rare sensitivity: reverence without dust, modernity without noise. Eight years with the Pilzno Institute — logos, campaigns, books, web — built a skill set few studios carry.
04The Screen
From sitemap to ship.
Web design, UX, UI, product — and the oversight to get it built right.
For years the role was the whole project: work the brief with the client, shape the flow, design every screen, then direct the build. A decade of interfaces, from 2012 mobile apps to full learning platforms.

05The Set
Lately, the work has a red tally light.
Podcasts and video — from empty room to finished episode.
Building recording studios, sourcing cameras and glass, lighting sets, directing edits. And before any of that: the name, the visuals, the intros, the break screens — a podcast is a brand that talks.

06The New Tools
Now I build the thing itself.
AI-native workflows turned twenty-five years of design instinct into shipping software.
Years in UX and product weren't preparation for using these tools — they were the head start. Full-scale web apps, designed and built, with agentic workflows in the loop. Proof below: don't read about it, play with it.
Twenty-five years of making things that mean something.
I'm Yoel Bender — a designer, art director, and brand builder based in Israel. For twenty-five years I've given ideas a face: brands, books, campaigns, interfaces, film sets, and lately full software products built with AI-native workflows. Today I'm the Creative Director at Share Fund, where design serves wisdom and community.
The work has crossed almost every discipline that touches an audience — identity systems and brand books, print and packaging, web and product design, podcast studios and video direction. What ties it together is a belief that craft is a form of respect: for the idea, for the tradition it comes from, and for the person on the other side of it.
The last decade centered on Jewish education and community organizations, where the brief is three thousand years old and the design still has to feel like tomorrow. The current chapter adds a new tool: AI in the loop, turning decades of design instinct directly into working software.
Off the clock — drawing, sculpting, building strange little tools, and the occasional clay boy in a desert.
